Empowering Young Talent | Yikuan International Partners with CCSA to Support Youth on Their Path to Employment

A job opportunity can be the first important step toward an independent future.

Yikuan International Trading Co., Ltd. has long been committed to youth development and social responsibility. Recently, Chairman Wu Chun-Hsien participated in the “Let Talent Be Seen – Youth × Business Dialogue”, engaging directly with young people and demonstrating the company’s support for the employment initiatives of the Chinese Children’s Home and Shelter Association (CCSA).

Through this initiative, Yikuan International hopes to create more opportunities for young people transitioning to independent living to be recognized by employers, welcomed into the workplace, and empowered to build a future of their own.

For many young people, leaving school and entering the workforce marks a new chapter in life. For youth transitioning out of residential care without consistent family support, however, finding stable employment means much more than making a career choice. It can determine whether they are able to afford housing, meet everyday living expenses, plan for the future, and ultimately establish an independent life.

CCSA supports young people aged 15 and above who have left residential care and require assistance in transitioning to independent living. Over the years, the organization has provided comprehensive support in areas including housing, daily living, education, employment, and emotional well-being, helping young people gradually develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently.

From Charitable Support to Meaningful Employment Opportunities

At Yikuan International, we believe that corporate social responsibility goes beyond one-time donations or short-term assistance. Businesses can make an even greater difference by leveraging one of their most valuable resources—the ability to provide workplace experience and employment opportunities.

As a CCSA employment partner committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace, Yikuan International seeks to provide youth with access to suitable job opportunities, workplace experience, and pathways to meaningful employment, enabling those who are ready to work to build stability through their own abilities and efforts.

Chairman Wu Chun-Hsien personally participated in the “Let Talent Be Seen” Youth × Business Dialogue, where he exchanged perspectives with young participants.

“Our goal is not simply to offer a job. We want young people who are willing to work hard to have the opportunity to be seen, trusted, and given a chance. Businesses have the ability to provide workplaces, resources, and opportunities, and we believe these strengths should be used to create a positive impact. Sometimes, having someone walk alongside them for part of the journey can become an important turning point in their lives,” said Chairman Wu Chun-Hsien.

For Yikuan International, recruiting talent is not only about finding the right people for the company; it is also about giving young people a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate their potential. A workplace that is willing to understand, support, and nurture young talent can become an important bridge from receiving support to achieving independence.
